One wonderful Tuesday, October 26th 2010 I was put in a pumpkin patch. I hated it there but when I got a little used to it, I sort of liked it. I mean, I have tons of friends out here in the pumpkin patch.
Two weeks after I just arrived, I saw someone looking at me. I thought the boy was going to pick me up and he did. He took me to his house and set me on the table. I felt so nervous, I almost peed in my pants. Oh!
I don't even have any pants! Never mind. I saw him with something like a mini saw and it was pointing at me. What does he think he is? A pumpkin surgeon or something? He started cutting holes in me. "It hurts, stop," I told him. But he didn't hear me. Now I remember what my friend told me that it's a thing that people do to us on Halloween. People do it to honor the evil spirits.
Then, the boy took all of my beautiful babies and put them in a frying pan and he ate them. Next thing I know I see a candle in me. I wish I were never a pumpkin ever again.
